These centres began operations on August 1, 2024, with the aim of streamlining the visa application process for UAE residents.
Key Highlights:
- Locations: The Japan Visa Application Centres are located at WAFI Mall in Dubai and The Mall, World Trade Centre in Abu Dhabi. Both centres operate from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM.
- Services: The centres will handle document submissions for both short-term and long-term visas to Japan by prior appointment. Appointments can be made online at no charge.
- E-Visa Services: Starting September 1, 2024, travellers eligible for e-visas to Japan can apply for tourist e-visas through these centres.
- Optional Services: To enhance convenience, VFS Global offers optional services such as Visa At Your Doorstep, Premium Lounge, Prime Time submissions, and Form-filling Assistance.
