New speed limit comes into effect on October 13; motorists urged to follow updated road signs
FUJAIRAH: Motorists travelling between Fujairah and Khorfakkan have been advised to take note of a new speed limit coming into effect this week. Fujairah Police announced that the maximum speed limit on the Fujairah–Khorfakkan Road will be reduced from 120 km/h to 100 km/h starting Tuesday, October 13, 2026.
The change was announced by the Fujairah Police General Headquarters in coordination with the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure. Authorities have urged all motorists using the route to follow the revised speed limit and obey the traffic signs and road instructions displayed along the highway.

fect on October 13, 2026. Drivers are advised to watch for updated road signs and adjust their speed accordingly. Fujairah Police stressed that following speed limits and traffic regulations is essential to ensuring the safety of all road users.
