1. Initial Approval:
After receiving initial approval from the Ministry of Human Resources & Emiratisation, UAE, you need to undergo a medical test at a GAMCA (Gulf Approved Medical Centers Association) clinic in your city. Click here to see the list of GAMCA clinics in India.
2. Medical Test Appointment:
Book a pre-appointment through [Wafid](https://wafid.com/book-appointment).
Pay $10 at the time of online booking using an international credit card or through a travel agency/online service center in your city.
Provide the following details during online booking:
- Country
- City
- Country Traveling to
- Personal and Passport Details
- Visa Type
- National ID (Aadhaar No.)
- Position Applied For (type the offered job title from your offer letter. If the exact title isn't available, choose a related profession or type the exact profession in the "Other" column).
- On the next page, enter credit card details and pay $10.
- You will receive a confirmation slip with the date of the test and the clinic address based on your chosen city.
3. Documents Required at the Clinic:
- Appointment slip
- Original passport and a photocopy
- Four passport-size photos with a white background
4. At the Clinic:
Pay approximately Rs. 5500 and complete the medical test, which includes screening for infectious diseases such as tuberculosis, HIV/AIDS, hepatitis, and other communicable diseases.
You will receive the report either the same day evening or the next day morning.
5. UAE Consulate Visit:
- Visit the UAE Consulate at Manacaud, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, for medical attestation, biometrics, and entry visa stamping.
- If traveling by train, book to Thiruvananthapuram Central station.
- The consulate is open from Monday to Friday, excluding UAE & India public holidays.
- When you come to Thiruvananthapuram, bring Original Passport, Medical certificate and Aadhaar Card.
- Inform me of your arrival time in Thiruvananthapuram after booking your train/bus/flight ticket. Our staff will pick you up from the arrival point and assist you with all consulate procedures.
- If you arrive before 10:30 AM, you can complete all procedures by 2:30 PM and return the same day.
- Inform your employer once you have completed biometrics at the consulate to facilitate the remaining payments to the MOHRE & ICP in UAE.
- It will cost around Rs. 13,000 at Thiruvananthapuram for consulate procedures, including service charges.
- Keep all receipts for potential reimbursement from your company.
6. Passport and Clearance:
- Your passport will be kept at the consulate for seven days for entry visa stamping and security clearance.
- Our staff will collect your passport and courier it to you.
- The GAMCA medical report is valid for three months from the date of issue.
