Sponsors have very clear responsibilities laid out in the UAE's Federal Law.
The Federal Law No. (15) of 2017 governs the rules around support service workers.

According to the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation, if the worker's contract, which is typically of two years, has been successfully completed...The sponsor would need to ensure that any leave not taken in the past two years is paid for.
The Federal law states that the worker shall be entitled to a cash compensation equaling his/her wage for the days of leave due he/she is entitled to.
Air Ticket
The sponsor is also required to pay for the worker's return ticket to their home country.
One month's Salary
The Federal Law also stipulates that the sponsor provides a compensation equaling the comprehensive wage of one month's salary.
Gratuity of 14 days per year.
As per the Federal Law of 15 of 2017, the gratuity shall be calculated on the basis of the wage due for fourteen days per year.
The gratuity shall be paid to the worker upon upon the termination of the employment contract.
If the worker has completed one year of continuous service, the worker shall be entitled to a gratuity for the served fraction of a year.
According to Article 27, the worker shall be deprived from his end of service gratuity if he/she leaves his/her work without without a legal cause or if he/she terminates the employment contract without a legal cause.
