It is now mandatory to conduct a COVID-19 PCR test on everyone arriving through the country's airports, including citizens, residents, tourists and transit passengers, regardless of the country they are flying in from.
The PCR tests will be implemented, starting July 24, at all UAE airports.
They also need to ensure that residents have signed a Health Declaration Form.
All UAE residents traveling to the European Union, Britain and any other countries that require a COVID-19 PCR test, have to take the test before they board the plane.
Children under 12 and children of determination are exempted from the laboratory test that is valid for 96 hours from the date of the test.
These new requirements apply to all airlines operating in the UAE.

For countries that do not have testing centres listed on the website, it is up to the airlines to ensure that the passenger has a negative PCR test result from approved centres.
Etihad airlines listed the Covid-19 PCR test result as a requirement for residents at check-in at the port of departure. "If there are no testing facilities at your point of departure, or you test positive, you will not be permitted to travel," the airline said on its website.
