Housing Fees in Dubai (How to update residential data in DM site?)

All residents in Dubai should pay 5% of their rent towards the housing fee. If you own a property, you'll be charged 5% of its rental value as per the RERA rental index.
You do not have to register the fees online. The charges will be automatically updated in the system through your DEWA bills. If you're shifting homes or moving into a new place, your housing fee will be billed from the first DEWA bill itself.

Attachments required: DEWA bill, Lay out/plan & Title deed.

UAE nationals are exempt from paying housing fees.

Q: Will I be charged only once or every year?
A: Every year. The fee is payable on a yearly basis, calculated on 5% of the annual rent.
