Stranded Abu Dhabi residents can return to UAE without prior approval

Abu Dhabi residents stranded abroad do not have to wait for prior approval to return to the UAE capital.
Before booking tickets, Abu Dhabi residents should visit uaeentry.ica.gov.ae and use their passport details and Emirates ID to get instant verification of their UAE entry status.
Travellers on all Etihad flights will be required to have mandatory COVID-19 PCR test results. Children under the age of 12 and people of determination are exempt from the COVID-19 PCR test requirement.

UAE residents can now fly back without permit, says Air India Express

Airline tells UAE-bound passengers that approval from ICA or GDRFA is not required.
Air India Express on Friday revised a travel advisory issued to Dubai-bound passengers yesterday, saying that as per the UAE authorities, residence visa holders returning to the UAE are now permitted entry without approval from the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship (ICA) or the General Directorate of Residency and Foreign Affairs (GDRFA).
The airline said the passengers to Dubai must download a Dubai Smart App and those flying to Abu Dhabi and Sharjah must download Al Hosn Smart App.

ഇതനുസരിച്ച് മാർച്ച് 1ന് മുമ്പ് വിസ അവസാനിച്ച് നാട്ടിൽ താങ്ങുന്നവർ അപൂർവമായേ ഉണ്ടാകൂ. കാരണം മാർച്ച് 17 മുതലാണ് കൊറോണയെ തുടർന്ന് യു എ ഇയിലേക്ക് വിമാനം നിലച്ചത്.

 ഇപ്പോഴത്തെ അറിയിപ്പ് പ്രകാരം ഓഗസ്റ്റ് 31 വരെ ഇത്തരക്കാർക്ക് അവസരമുണ്ട്.

Follow these steps to return to the UAE

Seven-step procedure for UAE residents to follow if they are stranded outside the country.
UAE residents no longer require an ICA approval to return to the country:

 Step 1: Verify your data through this link uaeentry.ica.gov.ae

 Step 2: Take a COVID-19 RT-PCR test

 Step 4: Book a return ticket

 Step 4: Present the COVID-19 negative certificate to the airline at the airport.

 Step 5: Take another COVID-19 test on arrival.
On arrival, passengers are also required to take a COVID-19 test. UAE airports have been conducting tests at the airport.
