Indians and Pakistanis having US, UK or Schenegen visa can get Saudi visit visa on arrival

Saudi Arabia has introduced one-year multiple entry visit visas for Pakistanis, Indians and all other applicants who have a valid UK, US or Schengen visa stamped on their passports.

 The new multiple-visa will be valid for one year and the visitors will also be allowed to perfom Umrah. However, they are not allowed to perform Haj.

 Visitors can get visa on arrival at any international airport in Saudi Arabia but they must have a credit card to pay fee amounting to SR440 (Dh431) as cash is not accepted. They will be allowed to stay for 90 days at a stretch and can enter the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia multiple times during the validity period of their visit visa.

 Visa is issued to only those applicants who have used their US, UK or Schengen visa for at least once. You will not be given visa on arrival if you have US, UK or Schegen visa stamped on your passport but have never used it.

 One of the pre-conditions to get visit visa on arrival is that the visitors will have to travel on one of the Saudi-based airlines including Saudi Airlines, Flynas or Flydeal. This is mandatory only for first time visitors. Repeat visitors who already hold Saudi visit visa can use any other airline.

 You Can perform Umrah
For non-Muslims, the Saudi Arabia Tourist eVisa is granted for tourism purposes only. Visitors are forbidden from visiting the holy cities of Mecca and Medina.

 For Muslims, visitors may travel for Umrah on a tourist eVisa outside of Hajj season only.

 Online visa
Earlier, Saudi Arabia had opened its doors to the world through its new visit 90-day visa introduced in September last year for more than 50 countries. They are also given one-year multiple visit visa and they have to apply online. Pakistan, India and many other countries are not included in this list.

 The tourist e-Visa (which is different from visa on arrival) allows travellers to enter the country for leisure purposes and it enables them to stay in Saudi Arabia for up to 90 days. The Saudi Arabia tourist e-Visa application process is very simple and 100 per cent online.

 Once the application is submitted and accepted, the applicant will receive an electronic visa that must be shown to immigration officers upon arrival.
Travellers must have their passport with at least a six-month validity from the date of arrival and have at least one page available for stamping.

 The Saudi Arabia Tourist e-Visa allows applicants multiple entry in Saudi Arabia and visitors can remain in the country for up to 90 days.

 Requirements for visa on arrival
  • Valid passport for at least six months
  • Valid US, UK or Schengen visa stamped on the passport
  • The US, UK or Schenegen visa must be utilised for at least once before entering Saudi Arabia
  • Applicant must hold a credit card as no cash payment is accepted
  • Application fee SR440 for each applicant
  • One-year-multiple visa
  • Maximum stay 90 days
  • Umrah is allowed but visit visa holder cannot perform Haj
  • Requirements for online visa application
  • Applicants must have a passport from one of the eligible countries listed on the online visa website
  • Passport should be valid for six months from their date of entry into the country.
  • Payment through credit card
  • Visa will be sent on applicant’s email within 24-hours once the application is submitted
  • Take the copy to travel to any destination in Saudi Arabia
  • Visa fee SR440

Smart Medical Fitness Test and Visa Stamping in Dubai

Location: City Walk, Dubai
VIPs, investors and holders of the golden residency visa can complete their medical fitness tests, get their results and visa stamped, all within 30 minutes, at Smart Salem, Dubai Health Authority’s (DHA) first fully Artificial Intelligence (AI)-driven autonomous medical fitness centre in Dubai. The smart medical fitness test comes for Dh700. 

 Customers will be able to give their car to a smart VIP valet service.
The service combines facial and plate recognition to identify them so that the car can be recalled when their journey is completed autonomously.

 Once the customer enters, he/she will be greeted by a robot that will direct him/her to a screen for self-registration using his/her facial and Iris print.
The centre has employed four robots, each with a different function (includes customer service, relay, catering and vending etc.

 A first-of-its kind personalised Smart Q-system calls the customer by their name and their photo, and then directs them to the blood withdrawal booths, which have transparent smart glass doors, which electronically become tinted once the customer walks in to ensure their privacy, using voice control. The rooms also have screens with different scenery options, which customers can choose from for a relaxing feel.

 A nurse then uses an electronic device to locate the vein for occupational health or the unique push-button device to withdraw the blood painlessly for medical fitness tests.

 The nurse then hands over the blood samples along with the passport to a robot, which transfers the blood samples to the lab and passport to GDRFA officer. After that, the patient is directed to the x-ray room.

 After finishing their tests, customers can wash their hands using an innovative Smart Wash technology, which is timed to ensure that customers wash their hand correctly and it helps reduce water wastage by 90 per cent.

 The centre is also the first medical fitness centre in the region to use the world’s first push-button blood collection device, which allows for virtually painless blood collection, giving the customer a pain-free health experience while using NFC technology to audit trail their journey.

 To further ease the blood withdrawal process for occupational health, an electronic device is used to identify the location of the vein before blood withdrawal. Smart Salem also utilises the first approved AI technology for healthcare to diagnose tuberculosis in chest X-rays within seconds.

 The centre uses the AI Pod to measure vital functions (this includes, blood pressure, height, weight, fever etc) and medical history using iOT technology, which in turn analyses the information and highlights the risk parameters for the physician. The results will then be sent to the Salem system electronically, reducing time and eliminating possible errors.

 Medical Result
The system automatically sends the results to the concerned parties in a secure way. “Customers will be able to make the payment via smart channels such as Apple pay, Samsung pay, mPay and ePay to name a few,”
While waiting for their documents to get ready, customers can take a seat in the waiting area and have refreshments and light snacks presented by the vending robot or order other items on the smart tables to get it delivered by the catering robot. They can also use the tablets available in the waiting area.
At every step of the journey, the customer is verified by facial and iris recognition to eliminate errors and provide a hassle-free experience, even the bathrooms are equipped with Smart Mirrors that can be voice controlled to present any content.

 Minimal time
Utilising all these technologies will decrease the customer’s journey so that it doesn’t exceed 30 minutes, this includes stamping of the visa. It will also ensure that the customer has an entertaining and quick experience.
Who can go there?
It is open to VIPs, investors and holders of the golden residency visa in its first phase and has the capacity to cater to 150 customers per day.

 Medical Test is a Mandatory requirement
Medical fitness test is a mandatory requirement for all expats in the UAE. Medical fitness screening is a prerequisite for a residency, employment or education visa. Smart Salem provides medical fitness and occupational screening services using AI and Internet of Things (iOT), which enables the centre to complete medical fitness processes with minimal human interference.
