What is a PCC?
A Police Clearance certificate known also as Good Conduct Certificate is a proof of the person's criminal record or the lack of it in the state in which he/she resides. 

 How to apply?
You can apply for the certificate online through the Ministry of Interior's website www.moi.gov.ae and/or their smart phone App MOI UAE available on iTune and Google Play. 

 Dubai
In Dubai, the service is available through Dubai Police's website. www.dubaipolice.gov.ae or through the Dubai Police's App. 

 The following Documents are required:
1. A valid Emirates ID card.
2. A recent passport size photograph.
3. A copy of the applicant's passport with visa page.
4. A letter from the beneficiary stating that he/she does not have any pending criminal convictions.  

 Former UAE Residents
If you are no longer a resident of the UAE, you need to get your fingerprint card from the country you are residing in and have it attested by the UAE Embassy there. 

 Then, you can send your request for PCC online to the Ministry of Interior-UAE portal https://portal.moi.gov.ae or to Dubai Police at: Police Clearance Certificate https://dubaipolice.gov.ae.

 Send it along with the following documents:
1. Fingerprint card attested by the UAE Embassy.
2. Two recent passport-sized photos 
3. A copy of your valid passport 
4. A copy of your last UAE visa.
5. The reason for the application (work, study, immigration, obtaining license and others).

 The certificate can be issued in both Arabic and English. Fees differ according to the language, the applicant's nationality and the applicant's current place of residence.
Fee ranges from Dh100 to Dh300.

How to calculate the end of service benefits of housemaid or nanny?

If your domestic worker’s contract has come to an end, this is how to calculate gratuity.
Sponsors have very clear responsibilities laid out in the UAE's Federal Law.
The Federal Law No. (15) of 2017 governs the rules around support service workers.
Who is a domestic worker? List of occupations within the category.

1. Paying for any leaves not used
According to the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation, if the worker's contract, which is typically of two years, has been successfully completed...The sponsor would need to ensure that any leave not taken in the past two years is paid for.

 The Federal law states that the worker shall be entitled to a cash compensation equaling his/her wage for the days of leave due he/she is entitled to.
Air Ticket
The sponsor is also required to pay for the worker's return ticket to their home country.

 One month's Salary
The Federal Law also stipulates that the sponsor provides a compensation equaling the comprehensive wage of one month's salary.
Gratuity of 14 days per year.

 As per the Federal Law of 15 of 2017, the gratuity shall be calculated on the basis of the wage due for fourteen days per year.

 The gratuity shall be paid to the worker upon upon the termination of the employment contract.

 If the worker has completed one year of continuous service, the worker shall be entitled to a gratuity for the served fraction of a year.

 According to Article 27, the worker shall be deprived from his end of service gratuity if he/she leaves his/her work without without a legal cause or if he/she terminates the employment contract without a legal cause.
